Transport-on-demand service for individuals with mobility challenges With its specially adapted vehicles, Twisto Access enables people with mobility challenges to travel year-round across the Caen la Mer Urban Community. Conditions d'accès This service is available subject to eligibility: - Wheelchair users and the visually impaired are automatically entitled to use Twisto Access. Documentation such as a medical certificate, disability card or equivalent may be requested. - People without automatic eligibility can apply. Fill out an application and submit it for review to a committee, who will make a decision as to: - Your ability to use the Twisto network. - Specific transport needs related to your disability. - Your eligibility for the service. Travelers can ride the transit system with a Twisto guide, who will help them get familiar with the network and ease any concerns about using public transport. Operating hours The Twisto Access service operates 7 days a week all year round, Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to midnight, except on May 1. Rates as of July 1, 2023 Twisto Access is accessible at standard Twisto fares (tickets, passes, social fares). These fares apply to users and paying companions. How do I book a trip? Book your trip: By phone at 02 31 15 55 55 (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:30 pm). 1) The day before your trip, you will receive an SMS indicating the 20-minute pick-up window. 2) 15 minutes before your scheduled time, you'll receive a reminder SMS. 3) You arrive at your destination safe and sound. Please note: routes and pick-up times are coordinated to accommodate other passengers who have reserved rides along the same route. Routes Trips are made from address to address, and the route is determined by the Twisto Access service based on other reservations. Cancellations Notify Twisto Access of any changes or cancellations by 5:00 pm the day before. For changes or cancellations to trips scheduled on weekends or Mondays, notify Twisto by Friday at 5:00 pm. Timely cancellations ensure efficient use of public resources and help accommodate other users. Late cancellations may incur a fee unless justified.
